Happy 2010

Whew...what a wonderful, busy, fun, hectic, Holiday Season! Hope everyone had a special time with friends and family.

Million things I want to do this month and the next, while I have a little time to stop and breathe. Let's see, take some photoshop classes, work on my husbands office (will post when I am farther along on it), shoot for Crossroads, schedule a couple more free model sessions (if your interested or know someone who might like to model for a free session, please email a photo to me and a little information about yourself),

schedule my nieces session, clean-up website, facebook page, blog, oh yes, and the house.

Not to mention, practice Yoga for Athletes, say no to sugar (day 17), read more, laugh more....and you know the minor stuff...like be a better mom....wife....friend...sister....aunt...

Ah well, it is good to have goals, right?

On a side note...Mr. Darrin Cantrell gave a challenging message Sunday...
I had the thought this may be how some of the disciples felt when they heard Jesus speak, when they said to themselves, "This is a difficult statement. Who can accept it?"

This is my personal crisis of faith...
after hearing a message or reading the Bible I will ask myself..."How?"

"How?" do I meet the biblical criteria..."how?" do I love more..."how?" do I give more...."how?" do I forgive..."how?" do I walk by faith..."how?" do I let go of bitterness...."how?" do I practice my faith...."how, how?, how?..."

I think I understand why "Many of his disciples turned back and no longer associated with him." If they were at all like me...after hearing Jesus speak, they just couldn't get past the question "how?"..."How?" do I put into practice the impossible messages Jesus just taught...

My ultimate New Years Resolution...to remember...it's not the "how?"...it's the Who.

"Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life."

When I can't figure out the "how?" or doing the "how?" seems impossible...remember...

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

Have a blessed New Year~
