film days.
sorry for this lovely scanned-in photo...but when iheartfaces gave a "sun flare" challenge, I couldn't stop thinking about this image... and the mystery of sun flare...back when I shot an entire wedding with my beloved Canon Rebel 2000 (no back-up camera), fuji "professional" film 400iso, 36 exposures...and a whole lot of chutzpah...
what was I thinking...

blowball
meaning:
Any of several herbs of the genus Taraxacum having long tap roots and deeply notched leaves and bright yellow flowers
followed by fluffy seed balls
dent de lion. french. meaning lion's tooth.
did you know they are edible in their entirety? Yes, you can eat the stem.
each single flower in the head is called a floret.
dandelions are found as weeds worldwide, they are also readily found in my backyard...
lots of them...they boys love them...
we do our own lawn care...nuff said.
